Steve's Bio
Steve Taber is an attorney who has been practicing environmental law for over 20 years. Environmental law has always been his passion. Although a relative newcomer to the protection of the oceans and their inhabitants, his experience in all facets of environmental law – Endangered Species petitions, hazardous waste clean-ups, enforcement of the Clean Air Act, and assuring protection from contamination from stormwater run-off – recognizes the interconnectedness of all ecosystems and their effect on each other.  Prior to moving to California, Steve worked with various environmental groups in the Midwest on a pro bono basis for a wide-range of issues. Steve received both his MA in Political Science and his JD from the University of Michigan.  Steve’s great love for protecting the environment comes from spending much time outdoors backpacking, camping and in the ocean.
